Art therapy for monitoring and optimizing emotional state

In order to improve our emotional state, detaching ourselves from everyday problems, to develop personally, art therapy saves us. Researching, the most compact and effective seemed to me the following methods to prevent and reduce stress, to cope with the symptoms and traumatic experiences.

We need a tool to draw with (pencil or pen) and another tool for drawing (sheet). So, you will draw:

  1. Flowers – when you are tired;
  2. Lines – when you are angry;
  3. Many colors – when you get bored;
  4. Rainbow – when you are sad;
  5. Geometric figures – when you are tense;
  6. Labyrinths – when you can’t remember anything;
  7. Roads – when you are desperate;
  8. Mandalas – if you have to understand something;
  9. Self-portrait – if you don’t know how you feel;
  10. Colored spots – when you want to anchor the state you are in (memorize it);
  11. Rhombuses and checkers – when you need to clean up your mind;
  12. Bridge/deck – if you can’t concentrate;
  13. Waves and circles – if you have a dilemma;
  14. Spirals – you feel stuck;
  15. Collage – when you are confused: you know what you want and you don’t understand yourself;
  16. Break the sheet into small pieces – when you are outraged;
  17. Origami – when you are worried;
  18. Sculptures – if you feel pain;
  19. MacramĂ© objects – when you are afraid;
  20. Marionette doll – when you are tense.
